	Sectional Panel With Optional Windlocks The Speed-Master® 1600 XL is uniquely designed for large exterior or interior door openings. 1/16" thick, 58 oz. vinyl panels are connected with aluminum windbars for superior windload capacity up to 90 mph (static). An aluminum bottom bar with breakaway tabs breaks out of the guide tracks if accidental impact occurs. Panel windlocks are optional for added wind pressure resistance.
	Low-Profile Guide Tracks and Built-In Light Grid Standard on the Speed-Master® 1600 XL is a light grid built into the guide tracks up to 8'0" high. Completely free of coil cords, the light grid provides a thorough wall of protection for personnel and equipment at the doorway, as compared to other doors that use only photocells. Full perimeter draft seals provide dust and odor containment, as well as general environmental control.
	Standard Hardwired Control Box - Smart Start Optional A standard hardwired control box adds to the economical design of the 1600 XL. Our exclusive Smart Start™ plug-and-play style control box is optional and includes factory-installed plugs located on electric connectors to simplify installation. Both types of control boxes are available with 208 v to 575 v / 3-phase Hz power choices.

Single Phase Connection / 3-Phase Drive The enhanced Speed-Master® 1600 L now accommodates the standard power sources readily available in most facilities. For doors up to 10'0" wide x 10'0" high, the HFCB control box is hardwired and standard with a 230 v / 1-phase / 60 Hz / 3-phase output power requirement. For doors over 10'0" wide x 10'0" high, the 230 v or 460 v / 3-phase / 60 Hz UL listed control box is standard. Optional for all sizes are both the HFC1 3-phase, hardwired control box and the proven and tested Smart Start™ HFC1 3-phase control box when UL approval is required.

Guide Tracks With Removable Covers

The Speed-Master® 1600 L has guide tracks with removable covers. Heavy duty 12 gauge hot-dipped galvanized steel tracks are a two-piece design, and the front covers conveniently open for ease in re-setting the door when required. The low-profile tracks dimensions of 7-1/4" wide x 4-1/2" projection enable the Speed-Master® 1600 L to fit into areas with limited clearances.

Optional UPS Emergency Battery Pack The Speed-Master® 1600 L Eco is only available with the HFCB 1-phase control box. A special UPS emergency battery pack is optional and provides peace-of-mind in case of a power failure. If power is lost to the door, the UPS emergency battery pack automatically opens the door once to allow personnel to quickly exit the area. This low maintenance design is free of springs, counterbalance systems and other high maintenance parts that are typically required for emergency opening. When the battery is low, an alarm sounds to signal time for replacement. Replacing the battery is a simple process that takes just a few minutes.

Sectional Design With 58 oz. Panel Material

The Eco's panel is constructed of 58 oz./sq. yd., anti-static, puncture resistant, nylon-reinforced PVC material, one full-width vision area made of clear PVC is standard, and heavy duty interlocking aluminum hinge profiles located above and below the vision area to provide panel stability. The sectional panel design allows for easy replacement of materials if needed after a hit. A variety of panel colors are available to accommodate any color scheme: Pure Orange RAL 2004, Gentian Blue RAL 5010, Zinc Yellow RAL 1018, Carmine Red RAL 3002, Agate Gray RAL 7038, Pure White RAL 9010.
