Flap-R Impact Door
Where wide loads or narrow openings suggest an alternative to rigid doors - or as a secondary barrier in cold storage applications - the Flap-R provides the answer. Two 40 oz. PVC sheets are "welded" into a single hightly flexible panel that offers total opening clearance, yet closes securely. Door panels act like a curtain but swing both ways on a 90º gravity hinge. Panels can be sized to exact opening dimensions and may include optional bulb-type gaskets and wear panels. Reinforced 2-ply nylon fabric panels are also available.
Standard Features
- Heavy duty, Galvanized steel, self closing gravity hinges that mount at the top of door jambs, eliminating the need for bottom hinges that can be damaged and restrict traffic.
- 2-ply Green USDA accepted vinyl coated nylon totaling 80 ounces of weight per square yard
- Temperature range from -20ºF to + 120ºF
- 18" width x 15" height clear vision area
- 3" door overlap to ensure better thermal barrier
Optional Features
- Wear Panels can be applied where sharp edged loads or motorized traffic are being utilized.
- Standard wear panels consist of 3.2mm thick USDA abrasion and cut resistant Surlyn material and are mechanically fastened.
